All teams registered in U9-U12 divisions will participate in a festival-style tournament, which means they will not be competing for a trophy or medals. Team Rosters
Team rosters that have been approved by the governing body for soccer in your province must be submitted prior to the tournament. WYSA-League teams are not required to submit their rosters as they have already been approved for league play. **If your team is participating in the 2024 WYSA Single Season, then that will be the roster used for the event. If your team is participating in the 2024/25 WYSA Indoor Recreational Season and already has a team former in time for this tournament, then that will be the roster used for the event. Please note that Guest Player Forms may be submitted prior to the event, with more details to follow.**
Guest Players
All U13-U18 Recreational and U13-U17 Premier guest players must complete the Tournament Guest Player Form and be approved by the organizing committee for said player to be eligible to participate with the requesting team. All non-WYSA players/teams must have proof of their governing association’s permission to be a guest player of the requesting team.
Multiple Teams with the Same Coach
If you are a club/organization that is sending multiple teams, you may have a coach who is coaching multiple teams. If that is the case, please notify us about that as soon as possible so we can try and create a schedule that accommodates these various coaching duties. It should be noted that we will do everything in our power to try and accommodate your request, but it is not guaranteed.
Refunds
Refunds will only be considered based on the timing of the team removing themselves from the tournament and the impact it has on the division. All decisions based on refunds will be under the auspice of the WYSA Executive Director in consultation with the tournament committee.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the WYSA office. We look forward to hosting you and your team in October!
