We are pleased to bring you more information regarding the 2025 Prairie Showcase Tournament taking place on October 22-26th in Winnipeg!
Below is some information that we feel is crucial to share!
Registration for all teams will open on Tuesday, September 9th, 2025 beginning at 12:00PM (CST). Registration will occur on the RAMP Registration Website. Please note that all out-of-province teams would not be scheduled to play their first match until Friday, October 24th at 6:00PM (CST) the earliest.
¼ Field Teams: $650
½ Field Teams: $850
Full Field Teams: $1200 (Full Field Matches located at U of W & possibly WSF South)
As Manitoba differs from several provinces/states in our age classes, please double check that the team you registered is in the correct division based on the birth years of the players:
Please ensure you are registering in the correct division based on your player's birth year! We will be offering Premier (U13 to U17 Competitive), Developmental (U9 to U12 Competitive), & Recreational (U9 to U18), so there is competition for all teams!!
The 2025 WYSA Prairie Showcase will be Canada Soccer and Manitoba Soccer compliant with respect to LTPD competition, guidelines, and standards. All teams registered in U9-U12 divisions will participate in a festival-style tournament, which means they will not be competing for a trophy or medals. This standard has been designed to create the best possible learning and development environment for all players, which is based on global best practice while considering the realities of Canadian Soccer and truly focusing on Long Term Player Development!
Team rosters that have been approved by the governing body for soccer in your province must be submitted prior to the tournament. WYSA-League teams are not required to submit their rosters as they have already been approved for league play. **If your team is participating in the 2025 WYSA Single Season, then that will be the roster used for the event. If your team is participating in the 2025/26 WYSA Indoor Recreational Season and already has a team formed in time for this tournament, then that will be the roster used for the event. Please note that Guest Player Forms must be submitted by October 15th, 2025, one week prior to the tournament kickoff!
If you are a club/organization that is sending multiple teams, you may have a coach who is coaching multiple teams. If that is the case, please notify us about that as soon as possible so we can try and create a schedule that accommodates these various coaching duties. It should be noted that we will do everything in our power to try and accommodate your request, but it is not guaranteed.
Refunds will only be considered based on the timing of the team removing themselves from the tournament and the impact it has on the division. All decisions based on refunds will be under the auspice of the WYSA Executive Director in consultation with the tournament committee.
